The Roosevelt Announces Dates for Annual Teddy Bear Tea

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Topping the list of the best holiday traditions and decorations to experience in New Orleans and the U.S., The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is proud to announce the dates for its annual holiday Teddy Bear Tea, beginning Sunday, Nov. 26, through Wednesday, Dec. 27.

The beloved family event takes guests on an exciting holiday journey with visits from Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and other special guests. This enchanting holiday tea party serves up delicious celebratory fare including savory snacks, specialty teas and tasty pastries, as well as sparkling wine and mimosas for adults. During the event, pictures with Santa will be available for purchase; Mrs. Claus will share some of her favorite holiday stories; and special North Pole visitors will parade through the ballroom, visiting with children. Each child will leave with the adored Roosevelt Teddy Bear, which has been collected by generations of guests and symbolizes the priceless memories of a true New Orleans Christmas.

Santa and his elves are hard at work this year preparing for this popular event to delight and inspire children of all ages. Dates and times of each Teddy Bear Tea seating are as follows:

General reserved seating is priced at $72 plus taxes and gratuities for children ages 3-10, and $95 for adults and children older than 11. Limited VIP reserved seating includes Roosevelt champagne flutes for adults, one commemorative photo per family and premium seating near the stage. VIP seating is available for $103 plus taxes and gratuities for children ages 3-10, and $126 for adults and children older than 11. For those interested in a premium Teddy Bear Tea experience, The Roosevelt New Orleans offers the Golden Table package, which provides premier front and center seating by the stage for 10 people, enhanced food and champagne offerings and keepsakes for children and adults. In addition, Santa and all his holiday characters will personally visit with the table and sign holiday books for the children. Pricing for this exclusive package is $1,800 plus taxes and gratuities per table.
